Wes Willenbring’s songs revolve around the primary elements of guitar, synthesizer, and piano. After being written and recorded they are disassembled, manipulated, and reconstructed to create music that is both visceral and expressive. This bridging of melody and texture, of form and formlessness, draws the listener into territory that is at once unknown yet intimately familiar. After years of writing and recording music both solo and collaboratively in Chicago he now lives in San Francisco.
